I love coming to Portland to sample a hidden gem. The new restaurant Kir is one that caught me off guard. It’s a nice little place to wind down with a generous glass of wine and a plate full of cheese in the evening. The owner Amalie has a great establishment going there. It was great watching her interact with customers with an infectious smile. The sun finally broke through the clouds in the evening lighting her face as she cleaned after some guests.
